The Potomac Basset Hound Club brings together Basset Hound owners, breeders, exhibitors, and enthusiasts throughout the greater Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region. We are dedicated to celebrating and preserving the Basset Hound through responsible ownership, education, fellowship, and participation in conformation, obedience, rally, field, and other activities.

Whether your Basset is a champion, a competitor, a hunting hound, or simply the ruler of your sofa, you’ll find people here who share your appreciation for this unmistakable breed.

Come for the Bassets. Stay for the people.
